Phatmass
The “phat” in phatmass stands for “Preaching Holy Apostolic Truth”. The website was built back in 2000 as a personal act of penance but has evolved into much more than that. Phatmass is a community of orthodox Catholics creating a cultural movement within the Church.
What we do…
- Phatmass defends and promotes the faith through music and over the Internet and teaches people the absolute necessity of orthodoxy, charity and humility
- We promote praying the rosary and provide a meditative prayer aide over the internet in our sister site, 59Beads.com
- We produce Catholic hip-hop music with lyrics that are Catholic and teach about the glory of Christ’s Church. *We do not advocate using hip-hop in the liturgy
- We participate in and organize live shows and events across the country where we will often give away rosaries, scapulars, books, etc – encouraging vocations and teaching youth (as well as adults) about the importance of the Sacred Liturgy and devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
